How did you get into insurance and financial services? What experience do you have?

Before I became a compliance administrator, I worked in recruiting within financial services. From my experience, I understood the kind of responsibilities that come with the role and I took it on knowing I have what it takes to do the job well.

How do you keep up to date with the industry?

One of the main responsibilities of my role is keeping up with the industry and its regulators. So I check organisations like the FCA and ASA, and other sources of insurance news, every day.

Even outside of work, I’ll check the news and look out for any insurance related news.

Do you have any special awards, qualifications or memberships?

I have a degree in biology, which helped me sharpen my analytical skills. These come in handy for my role.

What's your best money-saving tip?

Using a price comparison site like Go.Compare just makes sense. You can check out your options and look at what you can get against the price.

Also, cheap isn’t always best. Check the reviews for any product you want to buy and you can weigh up the good and the bad. This is super important when buying insurance as you’ll want good, reliable customer service."
